They starred in the recent Taco Bell commercial with their hit song ‘Take a Walk.’  Appeared on Saturday Night Live.  Were featured in Rolling Stone Magazine  and interviewed with Christine Martinez on the Modern Rock morning show.

And now they Headline the Modern Rock 98.7 Listener appreciation show on November 30, 2012 at Battleship Park.

Just ahead of Passion Pit under the big tent, The Charlotte, North Carolina, Columbia Records sensation Matrimony will take the stage followed by the five piece from Chapel Hill I was Totally Destroying It.

 

SCHEDULE

Parking available at 4p.m. Gates open at 6p.m.  Music starts at 7p.m.

•    9:15p.m.         Passion Pit (Cambridge, MS)
•    10:30 til’         After Party at Nicks Diner (win cool stuff)

PARKING. 

$5.00 at Battleship Park.  Advance parking available on-line.  BUY PARKING PASS HERE.  Listen to Modern Rock 98.7 the day of the concert for more parking information.  We do know there is not enough room at Battleship Park to accommodate all cars.  We will run a shuttle from Nicks Diner on Front Street in Downtown Wilmington to the concert and back.

SHUTTLE

From Nicks Diner on front street 5pm-7pm and 1030pm -1130pm on Trollies.  No charge for the shuttle.   There are nearby city parking decks.  There will be a charge by the city.

 

On Premise Vendors

BEER   $5.00   21 and over period!  Sweetwater 420, Sweetwater Blue and Sweetwater IPA.  (there is a rumor Bud and Bud Lite will be there too) A Portion of the beer proceeds will be donated to CAPE FEAR LITERACY COUNCIL who will be serving the beer. Get your beer tickets separately.  No refunds once purchased.

WATER  available on site for $2.00

FOOD  Poor Piggy’s BBQ, Catch, Tidal Creek Food Truck, and Patty Wagon

AFTER PARTY 

Nicks Diner

Is the place to be after the concert.  Their full menu is available including the delicious Black Iron Skillets and full bar.  Sweetwater drafts will be on special for $2.50.  Win cool stuff including Passion Pit signed items and Modern Rock 98.7 Rock is Alive shirts!

 

FOOD DRIVE

We will be collecting canned and/or non-perishable food donations prior to the show for The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.  Please bring an item or two to donate- we want to fill that truck.  It is holiday time you know!  Thank you!   And a big thank you to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK for providing a truck and delivering to the Food Bank.
